On 15th May 2012 traw101 reported that 'The King says -Fuck You' had plagiarised two stories.

The first was in the NCIS fandom from their on line archive.  Nicknames by Kate Todd.

The second was on Fanfiction.net.  26 Hawaii 50 Edition by T'Key'la.

On June 18, 2012, redcirce reported that two pieces of Doctor Who fanart had been traced and put up for sale on Etsy. This piece by viria13 on deviantArt seems to have been turned into this piece on Etsy. And this piece by chaaar appears to have been repurposed as this piece on Etsy. On April 30, 2012, reni_m reported that kristianabel22 had plagiarized a piece of fanart by adavidoff1 in the Merlin fandom. (See original report for screencaps and links.) On October 3, 2011, tasty_kate reported that Lifesfordreamers plagiarized tasty_kate and effie214. Additional stories belonging to nostalgia_lj and Loveslashangst were also discovered.

On March 23rd 2012, roguemudblood reported that mx-alyce had plagiarized whole sections of J.K. Rowlings first book Over on AdultFanFiction, (Sorcerer's Stone). On March 17, 2012, sara_holmes reported that one of her stories, Get Some, had been translated into Italian without permission or credit. Screencaps can be found in the original report, and confirmation has been made that the translation is word for word, with only the story title and chapter titles being different.
